Jackson and Cole Top Two For Dodson

Dodson High School has named the top students for 2022-2023. Valedictorian honors are awarded to Jean Jackson, and Salutatorian honors are bestowed on Emma Cole.

Miss Jackson has been active in basketball, Upward Bound, JMG, and Close-up. She has served as Student Council President. She is the granddaughter of Manfred Jones. Her plans following graduation are undecided as of now.

Emma Cole is the daughter of Jennifer Perez and Skip Cole. She has been participated in basketball, track, 4-H, Close-up and has had dual enrollment for fall/spring at Aaniiih Nakoda College in Fort Belknap. Her plans are to finish her bachelors in Tribal government/administration at the Salish Kootenai College. She then plans to go to Law School at University of Montana in Missoula to become an immigration lawyer.

Graduation ceremony for the seven graduating seniors will be held Friday, May 19 at 6 p.m. at the Dodson Gym.
