One Nation, Under God

Loring News for Wednesday, October 18, 2023

The northeast corner of Montana didn’t get in on much of the eclipse this time. But the photos that have been on the news look marvelous. It’s always exciting to me to see the way the universe works.

Friday the 13th was a happening day at the Clark household! Cindy celebrated her 66th birthday by holding a superstitions-be-damned party! Tana Oyler, her mini me, Brenda Kornfield, Joann Hammond, Gale Simonson, Lu Besel, Sarah Skubina, Becca and Robert Engum, and Kenny Clark family, plus myself helped her celebrate.

Carol Lumsden and Nancy Murdock have been touring France and visiting Alice Bartz. The photos they’ve sent through Facebook look like they are having a great time! I’m sure they both miss their grandkids, though!

I have officially moved to Billings. My address is 4215 Montana Sapphire Drive Apartment 107.

It’s a beautiful facility. Brandie and Dave Stordahl and Rodney Stordahl spent hours getting it ready for me. I had to downsize my furniture, but I still have an extra chair for guests! I’ll try to keep my article going, but not sure if I’ll be able to.

I ran into Judy Simonson on her way home on Sunday. She said she was just in Billings.

There are many Phillips County people who come to Billings on a regular basis. I hope to see them once in a while.

Also, I got to see Larry and Gail Willcott before I left town! I will see them again, I know! Gail said I could be her sister and when they get together, I would be included!

My own sister, Debbie, made me some chicken noodle soup for a welcome treat!

Thanks to all my friends in Loring and surrounding areas for their support on this move. I’m nervous but looking forward to spending some time with family down here.

Until next time watch for the cedar wax wings in your Russian olive trees. They love the seeds!
