Five downtown Malta merchants attended the city council meeting and told the council that something has to be done about the sewer smell that comes and goes inside and outside their businesses and is bad enough that employees sometimes get sick.

At the monthly meeting on Jan. 6. the Dodson Town Council discussed the situation of unpaid water bills that are causing great concern.
