Second Listening Session for Four-Day School Week Held by MPS Board

An attentive audience with opinions, thoughts, and preferences were in attendance at the Listening Session addressing the possibility of changing from a five-day to a four-day school week. It was held at the Malta High School auditorium on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. This is the last session of exchanges between the public, the administration and the school board. At the close of the session, Board Chairman Carter Clausen said the board would probably make a decision at the next (on March 13th) meeting.
