Blood Drive on April 18

Thursday, April 18th, the doors will be open and welcome to those who would like to give as the American Red Cross Team comes to the Malta Event Center (formerly known as and often still referred to as the “Old Armory”) for the second drawing of the calendar year 2024.

Doors will be open from 11 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. and while pre-registering is preferred, as long as time permits and available staff is able to squeeze you in, walk-ins can stop by. There are often appointments that do not work out for the day, usually due to farm-ranch changes in plans interrupted by a calving matter. There are also those who forget and are a “no show.”

Donors can save time at registration by going online and do the Rapid Pass registration. Power Red, which collects 2 units every other draw, is also available. The team is numbered on how many can be filled each draw, again, check on availability.
