    Montana Shakespeare in the Parks introduced Malta to Edmond Rostand's "Cyrano de Bergerac," last Thursday on the South lawn of the Phillips County Courthouse. The tale was written by Rostand in the late 1890's however the play was set in France during the Franco-Spanish War in the 1640's. The play featured Cyrano de Bergerac, a charming and witty French Soldier who was quite the swordsman and poet. Bergerac was portrayed by Danny Junod, who played the part perfectly.     Harry “Ed” White, age 66, of Mount Vernon, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Knox Community Hospital. He was born on May 19, 1949 in Richlands, Virginia to the late Harry E. and Anna Lee Osborne White (Lambillotte). Ed was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was a member of the Elks and Colonial City Moose Lodge.     Helen Hanlin Blevins passed away March 14, 2015 in Salem, Oregon after suffering a series of strokes. Helen, the only child of Mabel and Harry Hanlin, was born July 23, 1929. She grew up in Malta, graduating from Malta High School, and after attaining a degree in business administration from MSU, Missoula, she returned to Malta working in various offices.
