The Mustangs' 2014-2015 campaign ended in a 53-40 loss to the Rocky Boy Northern Stars in the 2015 Northern B challenge game. The North Country Mavericks are two games into their 2015 campaign and have already proven that they can win under the new cooperative agreement. The Malta M-ettes ended their 2014-15 campaign with an impressive 26-0 record that ended with a State B title in Great Falls. Jim Mitchell a former Phillips County resident will turn 100 years old on December 3, 2015. Mitchell was born in Phillips County and ranched there until 1967 at which time he moved to Clyde Park and continued raising cattle. He also ranched in the Grass Range area before settling in Miles City. Mitchell lives in Miles City near his three daughters; Charlotte Miller, Cheryl Melin and Judy Bloxhom and their families.
