Small School, big talent: Saco Schools hold Spring Recital and Concert

The Saco School Spring Recital and Concert held on Tuesday, May 13th was absolutely phenomenal! The incredible Ms. Rohlman led us thru a summer beach theme including grades K-12. We don't have a plethora of children in our school, but boy can they put on a show. Ms. Rohlman is an incredible asset to our kids. We heard songs about marshmallows, digging in the sand, and an array of Beach Boy tunes. The finale is what made the entire night. The room went pitch black and the 7th thru 12th grade began to beat on metal trash cans, buckets, and large rubber trash barrels, GLOW in the dark drumsticks waving in the air. Check This Out, an original composition by Ms. Rohlman's boyfriend, Evan. It was the most incredible thing I have seen at a school concert, especially a school as small as ours. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next. Amanda, thank you for everything you do for our kids in the music department.
