Solberg ordained as Minister of the Gospel in the Church of the Lutheran Brethren

Gregory Solberg, son of Orvin and Thea Solberg of Malta, was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel in the Church of the Lutheran Brethren on May 11, 2014, at Ebenezer Lutheran Brethren Church in Rolette, ND. Rev. Gary Witkop of Arvada, CO, officiated at the service. It was attended by his parents, mother-in-law, Elaine Stannebein, and grandmother Eva Bruckner, all of Malta. Gregory is a graduate of Malta High School (2005), the University of Montana, Missoula (2009), and Lutheran Brethren Seminary, Fergus Falls, MN (2012). He plans to pursue a career as a chaplain in the US Army.
