Garfield, Amestoy Lead Malta to fifth place in first Swim Meet

In it's first meet of the season, The Malta Swim team placed fifth at the Sidney Swim Meet. The team was only four strong at the meet.
Malta was led by 14-year-old swimmer Shay Garfield who won the Women 13-14 100 meter breaststroke, with a time 1:37.24. She also placed second in the 100 meter backstroke, with a time of 1:28.33.
Garfield placed thrid in the 50 meter fly with a time of 47.53.
Jenise Amestoy, placed second in three events at the meet in the 15 and over division. She had a time of 35.08 in the 50 meter freestyle, 1:19.28 in the 100 meter freestyle and 1:36.37 in the 100 meter...
