One Nation, Under God

Loring News for week of June 25, 2014

The whole North Country was blessed with rain this past week. Some places more than others, but all of it was welcome. Here at Loring we got about 2 1/4 inches. It definitely greened things up. We even had a couple of warm days later in the week, also.

Trace Simonson played basketball at the tournament in Malta over the weekend. Kayla and Kaycee Howard were playing on the girls’ team. Dee Ann Howard, Heather and Beau Simonson were supporters as was Dixie Stordahl.

Anjelica Four Star and Dylan rode to Havre with Dixie Stordahl on Wednesday. Dixie had an eye appointment.

The guys of the community put the new playground equipment together on Wednesday since the rain had stopped much of the farm work. Thank you, fellas! It looks wonderful!

I have gotten reports from Australia that the Simonson girls, Keira and Kourtney, and Tatum Moore are having a great time. They are playing basketball and seeing the sights! I know their parents are getting lonesome for them!

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer solstice! Now looking forward to the Fourth of July!

No church at the Loring Lutheran this Sunday.

The town of Loring looks very beautiful, thanks to Kenny and Dave Clark!
