One Nation, Under God

More Whitewater News for the week of July 30, 2014

It rained a couple tenths Wednesday night. The grass and weeds grew overnight! It was 95 degrees during the day. We did not have a storm thank goodness.

Janet (Murdock) Berg of Malta drove her cousin, Mike, Forbes and his wife Maureen from Scotland out to the Murdock Ranch for Pat’s birthday party Wednesday afternoon. Mike’s grandmother was Peggi (Murdock) Forbes, Jim, Ree and Margie’s cousin. The Scotland couple returned to their home the next day. Cousin Bill Murdock also gave them a tour of the North country farms and ranches one day last week also.

All of the above enjoyed the birthday party, other guests were Zeena Fox, Bill’s grandmother, Ree, Margie, Lacey, Jason and

Royce, Ty Murphy, Blake Ozark, Lexie Haynes, Brent Anderson and also Pastor Bob Nagy who makes his weekly visits to parishioners in the area on Wednesdays.

A big crowd attended the birthday party at the North Forty Friday evening for Debbie Hammond and Diane Engels.

Bobby Anderson celebrated his 80th birthday on July 20.

Allie Olsen worked the East-West Shrine football games in Billings last week. That’s quite an honor. Tatum Moore played basketball in the Big Sky Games.

Cody Math’s wife Michelle and their baby girl Aidee visited Michelle’s parents in Indiana several days.

The rain came fast and furious (1.5 inches) in a short time Wednesday night and flooded the basements. These hard, fast rain showers are a hit and miss, the wind was pretty fierce, too.

Alex Murdock has moved to Great Falls and is still welding for a company there.
