A very memorable and unique ceremony was held at Whitewater Lutheran Church on August 31st as Aimee Hammond and Darrel Carney pledged their vows. Family and close friends gave congratulations. Iris (Hunter) and her husband Wayne McDowell from Moose Jaw came to visit her cousin Margie Olsen and family, Jimmy and Nancy Murdock, as well as many other family members. They drove out to have a late lunch with Pat Murdock at the farm. They enjoyed going to the Sleeping Buffalo to swim and having brunch at their new restaurant. Brent and Debbie Anderson went to Glasgow to help granddaughter Sutton celebrate her 2nd birthday over the 4th of July. Again, the community mourns the passing of a friend, Clarice Stahl. Mother of Sue Olsen and Wade and Kenny Stahl. She was a strong, caring woman of many talents. A big congratulations to Kevin Doney and Megan Mitchell who were married last Saturday afternoon in a beautiful outdoor wedding at the Robinson House. Kathleen Murdock won another saddle, her fifth, in barrel racing at Gillette, Wyo. in the 2D group (over 60). Kathleen lives in Kadoka, S.D. This saddle she won was on her young horse named Tucker.
