A big congratulations to Kevin Doney and Megan Mitchell who were married last Saturday afternoon in a beautiful outdoor wedding at the Robinson House. Kevin has been living and working for his Grandpa Dave at the Dunbar ranch for quite a while. Megan works in Malta where they have a home.

A cloud burst went through the area last Monday evening then the wind really blew and dried everything out in a hurry.

Lyn and Eunice Simonson flew to New York recently to attend their grandson Brock McDaid’s graduation from West Point! He is the son of Lora and Dan McDaid of Helena. Several others from the Simonson family attended as well.

Steve Young visited Florida to see his daughter Kasara Kiriakopoulos, her husband Emmanouil, and their children. When Kasara was a teenager, she spent summers with her dad in Whitewater. She loved horses and met many new friends.

A friend of mine who lives in Malta went for a drive the other day and spotted three elk south of town. On any given day one can spot lots of wildlife around here birds, deer, antelope, skunks, beaver, raccoons, badgers, etc. Even wild turkeys have come through town lately.

Again, we are mourning the passing of special friends. Barb Dunbar from Whitewater and Bruce Babcock who retired to the area with his wife Jennifer from Louisiana and Mississippi.
