The Head Start Program celebrated its 50th Annivseray on Wednesday of last week and the Malta branch of Head Start celebrated by inviting some family and friends to the facility over the last week to help the organization celebrate.
Malta's Head Start program is part of the larger Action For Eastern Montana (as are Glasgow, Glendive and Miles City) arm of the federal program. Malta's Head Start opened in January of 1993 and there are currently 20 students (ages three and four) who participate in kindergarten readiness skills as they start their scholastic careers.
