Daubers spend Sunday afternoon decorating wooden barrels

Members of the Malta Dirt Daubers Flower Club spent a very busy Sunday after-noon decorating over fifty wooden barrels located throughout the Malta business area. Each barrel was decorated in an autumn theme with scare crows, pumpkins, corn stalks, and various gourds. The club has been decorating the large barrels for over ten years. The special project includes birdhouses each spring, followed with colorful summer blooms, autumn harvest theme, and a Christmas decorating contest each December.
