Kirkwood's Christmas Tree going into 20th year

For the past 20 years, the Christmas trees at Kirkwood Funeral Home in Malta have displayed ornaments honoring loved ones who have passed away. Currently, there are nearly 450 ornaments on display in the lobby of the funeral home, some on a Christmas tree, many more on giants white pegboards.

"There is a lot of history hanging in this room," Greg Kirkwood said. "Every ornament has a story."

Originally, the funeral home featured two trees with ornaments, but Kirkwood said that the trees where getting overloaded and it became hard for families to find their loved one's ornament.
