Please remember to file a new burn permit for the 2015 year. If you plan on doing any burning in 2015, please file one BEFORE you start to burn. These permits are good for all of 2015 and you only have to file one a year, not every time you burn. All 2014 permits will no longer be valid after December 31, 2014. Thank you!

11:49 p.m. Male requested assistance with a situation involving his ex-spouse; Deputy responded to the call; situation handled without further incident.

January 30, 2015

1:12 p.m. BNSF Police reported a crossing arm had been hit by a semi truck and trail-er; Deputy responded to the location; case file started.

2:27 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 5am Saturday until 5am Sunday for most of Phillips Co.

4:36 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to MHS for the wrestling tournament.

6:03 p.m. Female reported hitting a deer on the Wagner Hwy; Deputy responded to the call; white form issued.

January 31, 2015

3:09 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5am Sunday.

3:27 a.m. Male reported another male walking on Hwy 2, west of Saco; Deputy re-sponded to the call; individual not located.

9:06 a.m. Local Ambulance reported to MHS for the wrestling tournament.

9:54 a.m. Male reported he received information about a female who went through the ice on Nelson Reservoir with her 4-wheeler; Deputy, local Fish & Game Warden, Border Patrol Agents, Malta Ambulance and several individuals responded to the re-ported location; female located and was okay, 4-wheeler had not gone all the way through the ice and individuals had pulled her out.

2:32 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 11pm for Phillips Co.

5:17 p.m. Male reported a female walking down Hwy 191 north; Deputy responded to the call; family member arrived shortly after the report and took female home.

6:25 p.m. 911 received reporting an erratic vehicle on Hwy 2, west of Saco; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and was parked at a residence.

8:25 p.m. USA Central Alarm Company reported a fire alarm sounding at the Hi-Line Retirement Center; Deputy, local Fire Dept and Ambulance responded to the call; all found to be okay, just smoke from burnt popcorn in a residential apartment; Fire Dept and Ambulance canceled.

9:59 p.m. Female reported a vehicle in the ditch near the Greenacres turnoff; Deputy and Reserve Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, no damage to the vehicle; vehicle pulled out by other individuals.

10:17 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory is canceled.

February 1, 2015

12:45 a.m. Female reported a power outage at Nelson Reservoir; information passed onto NorthWestern Energy; later found to be a Hit & Run to a power pole; case file started.

12:52 a.m. Reserve Deputy reported an open door on the Milk River Pavilion; all found to be okay and the door secured and locked.

9:12 a.m. Male reported a male walking on Hwy 2 with very little clothing on; Under-sheriff responded to the call; male not located.

10:11 a.m. Female reported a crossing arm malfunction at the Saco crossing; information passed onto BNSF Police.

11:38 a.m. Male reported a fender/bender in a residential area; Undersheriff respond-ed to the call; case file started.

12:02 p.m. Male reported a crossing arm malfunction at the Stine’s crossing; information passed onto BNSF Police.

12:08 p.m. 911 received reporting a possible assault on Hwy 2, west of Dodson; Under-sheriff, Deputy and local EMT Crew responded to the location; case file started; pa-tient transported to the hospital.

2:58 p.m. Deputy transported the victim from the assault to the Ft Belknap line to meet up with a Ft Belknap Officer.

6:00 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle had hit a light pole in a residential area; Deputy responded to the call; case file started; information passed onto City employee the next day.

7:12 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for an elderly female who had fallen; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the hospital.

February 2, 2015

12:28 a.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a personal situation involving his family; Deputy handled the call.

3:24 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 10pm tonight until 5pm Tuesday for most of Phillips Co.

7:22 a.m. Female reported a suspicious vehicle on Route 66; caller later reported the vehicle had left the area.

12:01 p.m. A transport company reported an oversized load would be going through Phillips Co sometime this week.

12:13 p.m. Male reported a tenant’s garage was blocked when snow was plowed; caller advised to call the Malta City Office.

2:34 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 10pm tonight until 5pm Tuesday for Phillips Co.

9:07 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5pm Tuesday.

9:42 p.m. Reserve Deputy performed a welfare check on a semi truck and trailer with its flashers on; all found to be okay, just missed the turnoff he needed.

10:35 p.m. Female requested a welfare check on her daughter at a local residence; caller was concerned for a possible domestic situation; Deputy and Reserve Deputy responded to the location; all found to be okay and no domestic situation.

February 3, 2015

2:58 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5pm tonight.

6:36 a.m. Local Ambulance reported to Hi-Line Retirement Center for a patient transport to Billings for a procedure and back to Malta; call later canceled due to the poor road conditions.

8:20 a.m. Undersheriff shut headlights off, that had been left on, on a vehicle in the MHS parking lot.

9:28 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory is canceled for Phillips Co.

2:26 p.m. Wind Chill Advisory in effect from 7pm tonight until 11am Wednesday for Phillips Co.

3:41 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pickup from the air-port, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

3:54 p.m. Deputies removed a metal chair from Hwy 2.

7:38 p.m. Male requested a welfare check on juvenile at a local residence; Deputy re-sponded to the call; juvenile found to be okay.

10:15 p.m. 911 received reporting dogs running loose; caller wanted someone to come over or “I will shoot them myself”; Deputy responded to the 2nd St east area; all found to be quiet, no dogs running loose.

February 4, 2015

3:11 a.m. Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 11am today.

8:40 a.m. Anonymous reported dogs constantly barking in the Hillcrest area; information passed onto ACO.

10:50 a.m. Wind Chill Advisory will expire at 11am.

12:32 p.m. Female reported her neighbor’s dogs were running loose; information passed onto ACO.

1:22 p.m. Deputy assisted a female with putting license plates on her vehicle.

5:57 p.m. Ft Belknap LE reported a hitchhiker on Route 66, wearing a light jacket; Deputy responded to the call; female later taken to a residence in Hays/Lodgepole.

8:38 p.m. Freezing Rain Advisory in effect from 5am to 11pm Thursday for Phillips Co.

February 5, 2015

3:50 a.m. Freezing Rain Advisory in effect until 8am Friday for all of Phillips Co.

9:22 a.m. Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect until 8am Friday.

10:34 a.m. Local MHP Trooper requested PCSO assistance with a traffic stop on Hwy 2, just east of Malta; Sheriff responded to the location; one adult female transported to PCSO to be incarcerated on a MHP warrant; female later released on bond paid.

12:21 p.m. 911 received requesting assistance for a stolen vehicle on the reservation; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE.

1:39 p.m. Female reported a vehicle all over Hwy 2, westbound from Saco; Sheriff and local MHP Trooper responded to the call; case file started.

2:33 p.m. Local fireman reported seeing smoke in the Sleeping Buffalo area; caller ad-vised was a reported controlled burn.

2:35 p.m. Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect until 8am Saturday for Phillips Co.

3:16 p.m. Male reported a fender/bender near MHS; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

3:32 p.m. Sheriff transported one adult female and dog to a local hotel; local MHP Trooper transported one adult male, Michael Hall, to PCSO to be incarcerated on Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs-Felony, Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Speeding, No Insurance and Expired Registration charges.

7:27 p.m. Male reported vehicles “racing” around downtown; caller didn’t want any-one stopped just law enforcement presence shown in the area; Deputies handled the call.

8:32 p.m. Freezing Rain Advisory is canceled for Phillips Co.

9:18 p.m. High Wind Warning in effect until 5am Friday for southwest Phillips Co.

February 6, 2015

2:33 a.m. Female reported a vehicle in the ditch near the Sleeping Buffalo turnoff on Hwy 2; Deputy responded to the location; tire tracks and debris located in the report-ed area, no vehicle in the area.

2:47 a.m. High Wind Warning is canceled for southwest Phillips Co.

3:32 a.m. Deputy removed a dead deer from Hwy 2, just east of Malta.

9:48 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for an elderly female who had fallen; local EMT Crew responded to the location; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

10:55 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for an elderly male who had fallen; local EMT Crew responded to the location; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

1:14 p.m. Male requested PCSO assistance with a runaway juvenile possibly in Phillips Co; Undersheriff handled the call; juvenile not located in Phillips Co.

2:59 p.m. Undersheriff and Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle near the Overpass; all found to be okay and no one around.

3:11 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pickup from the air-port, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

6:20 p.m. Male, Michael Hall, released from PCSO Jail on bond paid.

7:53 p.m. Female reported dogs barking constantly at a house north of Cedarview; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be quiet in the reported area.
