One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for the Week of February 18, 2015

Howie Hammond went to the Mayo Clinic for appointments. We heard the reports are good.

Gloria (Youth Ranch Matriarch) has moved to Malta. We will miss you Gloria. Best of Luck.

Pat (Berg Tribby) former Whitewater resident, has received a new kidney in Seattle, Wash. There certainly has been progress in medicine.

The Simonson family went to a movie called American Sniper. Personally, I do not like war movies, but I do like the movies.

The Simonson family teenagers also went to Sleeping Buffalo Resort to swim. The reports are that all “the Sleeping Buffalo” has been remodeled and it is awesome and the swimming pools are very clean.

Debbie Carlson and Jody Boatman Martinez, both daughters of former Whitewater resident Lois Berg Boatman, have written me long letters. They both live in Washington and told me about their families living there. Debbie is fulfilling her mom’s (Lois’) dream of compiling a cookbook of her many favorite recipes. I can’t wait to buy one. Lois’ mom, Gladys Berg, cooked in Whitewater School for 49 years.

The snow is gone but it is windy and cold here in Whitewater, Montana.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
