Winners from the 11th Annual Books for Bikes in Malta this year include: (l to r): Kaden LaBrie, Eddie Jones, Masons Mark Kunze and Scott Waters, Brylee French, and Kaylee Bishop.
Malta Masons Lodge #57, gave away 4 bikes, in the 11th annual Books for Bikes Giveaway recently at Malta Elementary School. Mark Kunze, Mason member along with Scott Waters, came to school and gave away four bicycles and helmets to fourth and fifth graders. This is a national project of Masons across the United States.
This is the eleventh year the Masons have been donating bikes to promote reading and literacy and they have given away 44 bikes to readers at Malta Elementary School.
