NTWC assists Fort Belknap water treatment plant

The National Tribal Water Center has been working with the Fort Belknap Water Treatment Plant. The NTWC is a non-profit organization that believes in using the water the region has, and utilizes holistic approaches in making the water better for the community and its members.

The ‘Water is Life Project’ is a collaboration between the NTWC, the local community and the Indian Health Service. Following mechanical upgrades and improvements to the water treatment facility the ‘Water is Life Project’ goal is to raise the levels of trust, pride, and ownership in the local water system.
