FWP to host Bison Impact Study Hearing in Malta

A recent press release from Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks announced that state wildlife officials will hold five public meetings to discuss and take comments on a dart environmental impact statement for bison conservation and management in Montana, the fourth of the five to be held in Malta in mid-august.

Bison are currently designated as both a wildlife species in need of management and a species in need of disease control in Montana, stated the release.
