47th Milk River Wagon Train to conclude with parade, community feed

The Milk River Wagon Train will be hitching up the wagons and leaving with their teams from Turner on Thursday, September 3, for a 45-mile trek to Malta where they will be greeted with a parade and then host a community feed.

The Milk River Wagon Train is a reenactment of an old west train and 46 years ago, in 1970, Duke Seel called the groups very first meeting to order with 13 of Phillips County's finest in attendance. Most of the men at that first ever meeting are no longer with us and Doctor Jim Curtis is the only original member who still resides in Phillips County.
