Saco students play Santa to Angel Program....Students in the kindergarten, first and second grades at Saco School recently earned $179 by holding a candy sale on behalf of the Angel Program which supplies Christmas presents to underprivileged children in the county. Last Friday, the youngsters traveled to Malta with their teachers to purchase gifts at Family Matters. Power line may come
Indications at present are that the Montana Power Company may extend its high power transmission line east from Havre to points as far as Malta, says the Havre Plaindealer. Representatives of the company are said to be looking over the town to the east of Havre now, and if the demand is sufficiently large it is possible that not later than the early spring the company will start construction of a transmission line to furnish the cities east of Havre with electricity.
