Malta Duplicate Bridge

Wednesday, February 24, saw Les Solberg and Keith Stine capture first place. Second was awarded to Anna Faye Simms and Malcolm Clouse.

Monday winners were Keith Stine and Byron Ereaux. Second place was earned by John Norgon and Anna Faye Simms.

Hi-Line Whist

On Friday, March 4, LeRoy and Anges defeated Mary and Pearl 2-1, 13-14, 16-6 and 15-9.

Whist

3-1. On Tuesday, March 1, Malcolm Clouse took first place with 52, Shirley Jones was second with 47 and the traveling prize went to Lou Olson.

3-3. Pinochle

On Thursday, March 3, Roger Ereaux took first place with a score of 6,650, Marlyn Orahood was second with 5,770 and the traveling prize went to both Roy Baeth and Leonard Leader.

Phillips County Whist League

In week 7 action at the PC Whist League, Byron and Nellie Ereaux took first with 68 points closely followed by Shy Gilmore and Jesse Gray. In Third place was Von Holzhey and Kevin Stevens with 48 points. The league will crown champions this Sunday at Westside Café with cards beginning at 2 p.m.
