Malta All 60's Class Reunion set for June

The “All 60’s Class Reunion” committee has set the date, of June 3-4-5, for our 50th celebration. Our next meeting will be March 15 at 5:30 at the Tin Cup. Everyone is encouraged to attend this meeting and if you have a suggestion, we would love to hear about them.

New to us is using social media to connect with all of our classmates. We created a group on face book, “All 60’s Class Reunion”, just go in and ask to be invited and one of your classmates will invite you into the group. You will see many of our plans as we are in the midst of it and you have a chance to share your ideas.

We also created a group on E-mail as another a connection [email protected]. For both of these groups, we rely on classmates inviting other classmates with the hope that eventually all classmates that are on social media will respond. And as it is with Facebook, you can join right in with ideas of your own.

Classmates who live locally and/or have access to the Phillips County News, we want this to be your invitation to the “ALL 60’s CLASS REUNION”. And, as with Facebook and e-mail, we ask that you share this with classmates that you are in touch with.

We are doing our best to make sure that all classmates of these 10 classes are aware of our plans for this reunion. We have one or two “GO TO” people from each class that you can call if you have any questions-

The “ALL 60-s CLASS REUNION, will begin on Friday evening June 3 at 6:00 at the TIN CUP with light snacks and registration.

• A casual dinner on Saturday evening beginning at 6:00 at the Tin Cup and entertainment with “Pippin DJ”.

• A Sunday morning brunch will be hosted by Roy and Marian Ereaux at their home.

• Saturday there will be a co-ed golf tournament with Terry Stiles as the lead man on this.

• We have great ideas for other activities offered such as single class gatherings, boating, kayaking, the new Sleeping Buffalo, the new Malta Trails
