Malta boys take silver in Lewistown

The Malta Mustangs took second at the Golden Eagle Invitational last Saturday in Lewistown with a score of 51 points. Fergus took first with 178 and Hardin took third with a total of 50.

Devon Raybon won the high jump after clearing 5-10. He also placed fourth in the triple jump with a length of 36-11.

Ostin Welch took second in the 400 with a time of 54.37 (new personal best) and sixth in the 200 with a time of 24.24 (season best).

Tyson Carney took second place in javelin after leaving a mark at 153-0 and third in the 400 with a time of 55.47 (a new best). He also had a new best in the preliminary round of the triple jump posting a length of 37-02.

Jace Bishop took second in the high jump after posting a new best of 5-8.

Jalen Lamb took third place in javelin after posting a throw of 117-11.

Kolter Schipman took third place in the 800 with a time of 2:21.74.

The long relay team consisting of Judd, Welch, Konner Kuehn and Carney took second with a time of 4:01.37.

The short relay team consisting of Judd, Carney, Andres Lopez and Welch tied for third place with Harlem after both teams posted times of 47.76.
