Whist

On Tuesday, October 4, Leonard Leader narrowly edged out Clarence Jacobson and Malcolm Clouse, scoring 47 points on the day, good for first place as Clarence and Malcolm tied for second with 45. The traveling prize was awarded to Kevin Stevens.

Pinochle

Kevin Stevens had a whale of day as he captured first place with a score of 6,610, bettering Barb Stevens who scored 6,270 to finish in second. The traveling prize was awarded to both Noel Emond and Harvey Smith as the game was played on Monday, October 6.

Malta Duplicate Bridge Club

On Wednesday, September 21, Margo Rush and Keith Stine captured first place while second place was awarded to John Norgon and Bob Maxie.

Monday evening saw Bob and Malcolm Clouse take first place. Byron Ereaux and John teamed up for a second place finish.

Hi-Line Whist

On Tuesday, October 4, Curt and Pearl swept the day's action with two wins, 22-12 and 13-3.

"We were always low, then exploded and won," Pearl reported.

On Friday, October 7, Pearl and Agnes took two of three games, 15-6, 15-8 and 11-14.

"We were doing well when all of the sudden they snuck up and dumped us," Pearl said.
