Record setting weather waterlogs Phillips County

Phillips County was hit with heavy rains – and some early snow in Zortman – leaving roads closed, rivers and creeks running over and started the month of October with more precipitation than normal, setting some records in at least one location.

National Weather Service Warning Coordination Meteorologist Tanja Fransen out of Glasgow told the PCN that as of last Thursday, Zortman was in the middle of its thirds wettest year on record.
