Dirt Daubers gift Frightened Frog

Malta Dirt Dauber vice president Toni Ziegler recently presented county librarian Janeen Brookie with a special children's book . The book, The Frightened Frog an Environmental Tale, was written by Brenda Moore and Jean Ohlman. The National Garden Clubs, Inc. are concerned about nature and various animals including amphibians. It is hoped that the book will make people more aware of the decline of various animals including frogs as some species are already on the endangered list. The Dirt Daubers will also donate a copy of the book to Malta Elementary School.
