Saco Student Spotlight for the Month of October, 2016

Blaine Downing

Blaine Downing is in the 4th grade at Saco Elementary school. Blaine is the son of Shawn and Kelly Downing and is 9 years old. Blaine enjoys Jamboree basketball and flag football, his favorite subject/class is Physical Education. Blaine's favorite teacher is Mrs. Downing and his role models are his parents. Blaine enjoys riding his motorcycle when he has free time. Blaine would like to attend Montana State University, and he would like to be in the Army when he gets older. Blaine has two siblings Emerson (8) and Trey (4).

Challise Young

Challise Young is a Junior at Saco high school. Challise is 16 years old and the daughter of Gale Young. Challise is active in Track and Field as well as speech and drama at Saco high school and Malta high school. Challise's favorite subject/class in school is Choir, her favorite teacher is Mrs. Downing and her role model is Monte Broadbrooks. Challise enjoys hanging out with her friends and would like to attend Montana State University and become a Choir director. Challise has three siblings Talia Bell, Chrystal Alvarado and Josh Bell.
