The Whitewater Penguin basketball team, cheerleaders and coach Jack Kober were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Art Ganthner at a banquet in Malta Friday night, climaxing on of the most successful seasons the Penguins have ever had. From the left are Paul Kinshella, Lynn Simonson, Alan Wasson, Richard Dunbar, Bob Dunbar, Wayne Salsbery, Bob Ochsner, George Anderson, Leroy Simonson, Robin McMullen, Pat Dunbar, John Moore and Coach Kober. The Penguins shared conference honors with Dodson this year, each having an 11-1 record. 1967.

March 8, 1917
A letter from J. F. Kilduff described the good time the Malta contingent was having in Honolulu. Enjoying the warm temperature and flowers in bloom, "Bob" Trafton was feeling so young he was threatening to join the Boy Scouts, Kilduff said.

Trafton-Dorr Company retired "Jumbo," a horse which had pulled the delivery wagon and drayline vehicle for 14 years. Jumbo lost his job to a Studebaker truck. (Bet he's horse laughing now!)
