Mustangs fourth at home meet; Seventh at Fergus

The Malta Athletic Club Invitational brought in plenty of competition for the Malta Mustangs. The team took seventh at the event with 33.5 points. Fergus won the event with 253.

Jace Bishop led Malta, winning his third javelin event of the season with a throw of 156-0. However, Bishop was not pleased with his performance.

"It's always nice to win but we are out competing with ourselves. I'm always trying to beat myself and if I can't do that, that's when the disappointment sets in," said Bishop mentioning his season's best was 178-9.
