Attention Malta Kiwanis.

No meeting on Tuesday, August 22. Our next business meeting will be Tuesday, September 5. We will join up with Boys and Girls Club family potluck on Thursday, Aug. 17, at 6 p.m. to flip burgers. That’s tomorrow!

Malta Youth Soccer

Malta Parks & Rec Youth Soccer League registration forms can be picked up at the Malta City Hall or at Malta Elementary or Middle School offices. Signups will be Tuesday, August 22 at the MES Open House from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

MT Veteran Affairs

8-17. On Thursday, August 17, Judy or Steve, service officers for Montana Veteran Affairs, will be at Malta City Hall from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. If you would like to apply for benefits with the VA please come at the appointed time and bring a copy of your discharge/separation (DD214) papers with you. Star Gazing Night

8-17. Thursday, August 17 at 9:30 p.m. at Marian Hills Golf Course. Two Telescopes will be available. If you want to bring your own, come early to set it up. Will look at stars and planets and also get info about the upcoming Solar Eclipse. Contact Mardy Demarais for more information 390-5693.

Malta Trails Meeting

8-17. Malta Trails Inc., will be holding their monthly meeting on Thursday, August 17 at Stretch’s starting at 7 p.m.

Drought management meeting

8-21. On Monday, August 21, at 1 p.m., two Montana State University Beef Specialist will be in Malta at the Great Northern Lodge room to discuss management options during drought.

Dirt Daubers flowers for teachers

8-22. Attention Dirt Daubers! Time to get back- to- school flower vases ready for Malta's teachers. Please meet at Rosemary's carport on Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 6 p.m. Bring your fresh flowers. We want each teacher to have fresh flowers on their first day.
