Please remember to file a new burn permit for the 2018 year. If you plan on doing any burning in 2018, please file one BEFORE you start to burn. These permits are good for all of 2018 and you only have to file one a year, not every time you burn. All 2017 permits will no longer be valid after December 31, 2017. Thank you!

3:12 a.m. Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from late tonight until Monday evening for all Phillips Co; Winter Weather Advisory is canceled for all Phillips Co.

11:58 a.m. Male requested assistance with getting a county road plowed; caller advised he needed to call the County Commissioners.

2:28 p.m. Winter Storm Warning in effect from 5am Sunday to 11pm Monday.

4:08 p.m. Winter Storm Warning in effect from 5am Sunday to 11pm Monday.

6:56 p.m. Fergus Co SO requested a welfare check on female traveling through Phillips Co enroute to Valley Co; local MHP Trooper handled the call.

3:03 a.m. Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11pm Monday.

10:17 a.m. Female requested assistance with getting her vehicle unstuck in her driveway; caller given local wrecker company phone numbers.

2:21 p.m. Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11pm.

3:28 p.m. 911 received reporting 4 semis blocking Hwy 2, east of Malta; caller advised drivers were outside fighting; Undersheriff and Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay; one had pulled over to clean windows and lights, no accident.

4:13 p.m. Deputy advised the snow plows were out.

4:30 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle in the ditch on Hwy 191 south of Malta; local rotational wrecker service responded to the call; vehicle later reported a Good Samaritan pulled them out and were going to stay at a nearby residence.

5:53 p.m. Female reported a family member stuck in the ditch south of Malta; MT Dept of Transportation assisted with getting it out of the ditch.

MT Dept of Transportation closed Hwy 191 south of Malta due to the weather conditions.

6:01 p.m. MT Dept of Transportation employee reported a semi truck had slid into the ditch east of Dodson on Hwy 2; driver had already called for a tow truck and was waiting for its arrival.

6:03 p.m. Female requested assistance with removing an unwanted male from her residence; male had been told for several weeks to leave; Deputy handled the call.

6:11 p.m. Male reported his vehicle was stuck on Hwy 191 south of Malta; MT Dept of Transportation employee advised the vehicle would stay there for the night, driver was getting a ride to town.

8:24 p.m. Female reported she was stuck in a snowbank on Hwy 191 south with a juvenile child; Good Samaritan contacted, got them out of the vehicle and offered a place to stay for the night.

March 5, 2018

3:37 a.m. Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11pm.

7:33 a.m. MT Dept of Transportation employee advised they were working on getting Hwy 191 south opened; unknown ETA at this time.

8:02 a.m. Blaine Co SO advised of a delivery truck that was stuck west of Dodson; information passed onto Ft Belknap LE.

9:03 a.m. Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11pm.

10:02 a.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle was stuck on Hwy 191 south; snowplow arrived while on the phone.

10:42 a.m. Winter Storm Warning is canceled.

Several calls received requesting information on when Hwy 191 south would be opened; callers all advised the plows were out and working on it, no given ETA.

2:26 p.m. Roadside Assistance requested local towing company phone numbers for a vehicle stuck in a snowbank near Hays; caller also given Ft Belknap LE phone number.

3:21 p.m. PC Hospital Home Health requested an ambulance for a female who fell; local EMT Crew responded to the call; ambulance later canceled by a reporting party.

7:21 p.m. 911 received requesting a Deputy for a male who fell in the downtown area; Deputy responded to the call; male refused medical assistance and went on his way.

March 6, 2018

8:06 a.m. MT Dept of Transportation employee reported Hwy 191 south of Malta was open to one lane traffic only to Route 19.

12:11 p.m. Female requested assistance for a possibly suicidal male; Sheriff and Undersheriff responded to the call; caller advised she did not know where the male was or could be located.

Several calls received throughout the day requesting to know if Hwy 191 south was opened yet; all callers advised one lane was open and they were working on getting it completely opened.

11:36 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

11:41 p.m. Deputy reported a broken down tractor in a residential street in Dodson.

March 7, 2018

6:02 p.m. City employee filed a complaint regarding a vehicle that needed to be removed from a residential street for plowing; vehicle had been in the same location for an extended amount of time and the employee was receiving several complaints about it; Deputy responded to the call; owner located and advised to move the vehicle.

7:34 p.m. Female requested assistance for a situation involving her renters and a neighbor preventing the renters from getting to their property; Deputy handled the call.

March 8, 2018

5:39 p.m. Male reported a theft of property; Deputy responded to the call; information added to existing case file.

7:46 p.m. Blaine Co SO received a 911 reporting a male in the middle of the road, north of the DY Junction; information passed onto local MHP Trooper; male not located.

10:02 p.m. Female reported loud music and voices coming from a neighbor’s apartment; Deputy responded to the call; individuals advised to shut it down for the night.
