Safety Awards to be presented to Locals

Buster Deo VFW Post 4067 selected three individuals for the Safety Awards, including Fireman of the Year, EMT of the Year and the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year. These individuals will be awarded their certificates at a short ceremony on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 6:30pm.

Selected as the local recipients are William “Bill” Rock as the Fireman of the Year, Vince Mace as the EMT of the Year and Officer Jerry Lytle as the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year. Family, friends and the community are invited to attend the presentation. Light refreshments will be served following the recognition program.

Commander Jim Layton will be the presiding officer and the VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary will be serving the refreshments. Come and enjoy the evening and help recognize these men of service.
