Dodson names '19 top students

Dodson High School has announced that Tyrese Messerly has been named the Class of 2019 valedictorian and Shania Kelly KillEagle has been named Class salutatorian.

Tyrese is the son of Felicia Jackson and Wesley KillEagle Jr. He is undecided on his future plans. Tyrese maintained a grade point average 3.6 through his high school career, was a five-year starter on the varsity basketball team, he was a member of both the cross country and track teams.

Shania is the daughter of Joey and Valerie KillEagle, she maintained a grade point average of 3.5 during her high school career, was a member of the varsity basketball team for four years, was the student body president her senior year, and a member of Dodson FFA.

Dodson High School will hold their 2019 graduation on Friday, May 17 at 6 p.m. in the school gymnasium.
