One Nation, Under God

Loring News for April 15, 2020

The geese and Sandhills cranes are still flying over on their way north for the summer! The cacophony is a welcome sound! Another sound I love to hear in the mornings is the meadowlark song! And the sassy warning of the Robin!

The weather has been all over the place, almost 60 degrees and calm one or two days, then rain and blam! Snowy blizzard with a north wind! Easter Sunday was a total mix! During this time of sequestering I'm happy that the governor declared that the Easter bunny and tooth fairy were essential workers!

A lovely surprise for my Easter weekend was a shipment of fresh oranges, lemons, and grapefruit from my brother’s yard in Arizona!

Paula Morrison, Kage, and Kyson stopped to visit Dixie Stordahl while social distancing, on Friday! Paula and Mick voluntarily isolated for 14 days after coming home from Arizona. Thank you for your caution!

Tina and Charles Russell were able to visit with Janel Johnston at the Hi-Line Retirement Center on Friday! They played tic tac toe on the window. Janet stayed in her room and her daughter stayed outside on the patio and visited through the window. It's marvelous how the C19 has made us think outside the box!

Wash your hands and give your loved ones virtual hugs during this stressful time.
