Local P.E.O. organization, Chapter AK recently awarded Class of 2020 Malta High School graduate Jillian O'Brien with the Eaton-Hendrickson Scholarship in the amount of $700.

Jillian is attending Sheridan College in Sheridan, Wyoming to pursue her interests in Dental Hygiene. She is additionally enrolled in Bitterroot College-University of Montana completing a Work Force Certification program in Dental Assisting. She is the daughter of Dan and Sheila O'Brien.

P.E.O. is a philanthropic organization where women CELEBRATE the advancement of women, EDUCATE women through scholarships, awards, grants and loans and MOTIVATE women to achieve their highest aspirations. The local P.E.O. Eaton-Hendrickson Scholarship is a onetime monetary award recognizing a graduating high school senior residing in Phillips County who demonstrates outstanding leadership, academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and community service.
