On 11 July 2021 at 11:00 AM, the Montana Army National Guard will be conducting a Grand Opening of the Malta Readiness Center at 509 South 10th Avenue, Malta, MT.
At 11:00 a.m. the Adjutant General for the Montana National Guard, Maj. Gen. Pete Hronek will speak at the grand opening of the new Malta Readiness Center. The Malta Readiness Center is the Montana Army National Guard's newest Readiness Center. This state-of-the-art facility is 41,521 square feet including three classrooms, a full kitchen, simulations center, multi-media room, fitness center and maintenance facility. This was a $16,000,000 facility that took approximately ten years of planning and two years to construct.
The new Malta Readiness Center has brought two new full-time employees to the community and an increase in traditional National Guard Soldier use from 69 to 122 Soldiers. This newest Montana Army National Guard Facility is further stimulating the local economy with over $50,000 per year in local contract support to our organization.
The Montana Army National Guard is excited to expand the organization in the Malta community and look forward to developing local partnerships in the coming years
