One Nation, Under God

North Country News for Wednesday, June 22, 2022

Long time Whitewater resident Mark Lagesen drove to North Dakota to attend the wedding of his grandson Staten, the son of Chad and Joy. Chad and his two brothers went to school in Whitewater.

Rena and Bob Math were in Billings last week to welcome a new granddaughter born to Tasha and Wade Keller. She is their fourth child.

Jimmy Murdock had his 65th birthday on the 13th. Now he can retire! Ha! Farmers never retire.

Get Well wishes to Allie Olsen, Dorine (Brown) Taylor, Jays sister and Gary Anderson who are recovering from medical issues.

A big crew got the branding done at the Murdock ranch on Sunday the 12th. The young Anderson boys Rodee age 6 got to rope and drag some to the fire while brother Ryett 8 handled the branding irons! Pretty young cowboys. Beil and Ozark grandkids helped as well.

Haden Hellie, young son of Jason, helped Jimmy and Pat Murdock do some tree trimming and grass cutting at the Murdocks. Haden is a willing helper. His older brother Hoyt has been helping Scott Anderson with the summer farm work.

The weather sure has gone viral in places in Montana and South Dakota. Kathleen Murdock lives east of Rapid City, she lost part of the roof off her barn Monday. Golf ball sized hail and rain damaged grass lands and most everything not cemented in!!
