Malta's Grapplers Show Growth in Chinook Mixer, To Host Home Meet

The Malta High School Wrestling Team competed at the Chinook Mixer last Saturday, January 20, at Chinook High School.

"We had a good weekend in Chinook,” Malta Head Coach Jake French said. “Not everyone got to wrestle two matches, or even have a match. But most of our inexperienced wrestlers did and we have quite a few improvements.”

Malta will be hosting their home meet this weekend. The Malta Mixer is scheduled for Friday, January 26, at 5 p.m. The night will also serve as the team’s senior night, where several seniors will be honored including Samme Gibbs, Sydney Gibbs, Colton Mears, and Ma...
