    Marley Manoukian, senior at Malta High School, has been selected to receive the Fred L. Robinson Scholarship for 2016 . This scholarship has been awarded annually to a Phillips County senior to honor past Malta businessman Fred L. Robinson. The amount of the scholarship is $6,000.     Volunteer instructors are being sought for the Hunter and Bowhunter Education programs in Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Region 6, which includes the counties of Hill, Blaine, Phillips, Valley, Daniels, McCone, Sheridan, and Roosevelt counties. In particular, more instructors are needed in the Culbertson, Bainville, Froid, Medicine Lake, and Plentywood areas.     On Thursday, May 12, Whitewater Elementary students enjoyed their visits to the Wildlife Museum and the Blaine County Museum in Chinook. Students and chaperones viewed many spectacular exhibits displaying Montana's native animals as well as interesting historical ones.     The District 3C Track and Field meet is officially in the books. The Scobey boys and girls teams cleaned up, taking first place, scoring 218 and 166 points respectively.     Last Sunday morning Billings held its annual RUN for Heaven's Sake 5k, 10k and half marathon races. But the Magic City wasn't the only town that held a race. Malta, a town three hours north also ran, walked and strollered to the finish line to support the voices that can't speak for themselves.
