    The future looks bright for the North Country Mavericks and Lady Mavericks' basketball teams. Both fifth-sixth grade teams picked up wins in Jamboree action against their Nashua Porcupine opponents last Friday afternoon in Saco. First the Girls team defeated Nashua 21-10 and then the Boys team won 36-11.     The Malta M-ettes' season came to an end in the Northern B Divisional Tournament in Glasgow last Friday afternoon. The team lost their first game to the Fairfield Eagles 1-3, then defeated Poplar 3-0 and ended with a 0-3 loss to Glasgow.
