If you are outside on a clear evening be sure to look up and see if you can spot the Comet Lovejoy. It's a once in a life time event!

Get well wishes to Gracie Wasson who spent a few days in the hospital over the vacation!

Dixie Stordahl traveled to Hinsdale to watch the Saco/Whitewater Panthers play the Hinsdale Raiders on Saturday.

Many people have gone to the Sleeping Buffalo Hot Springs now that it is refurbished and open including yours truly! I found it to be delightful! The grouting that the senior class helped with was beautiful!

We've gotten some snow, not a lot, but it looks white up here. I have seen some snowmobilers traveling south from Canada.

The hockey season for the Shaunavon Badgers (2014 Provincial Champs) has begun with a win over the Maple Creek Hawks! Colt Kornfeld is one of the players! Congrats!

Loring Lutheran Church will be held at 11 on Sunday with Orvin Solberg giving the message.We will take the tree down after church. On January 18 we will not have church services but will have it on January 25 at 9:30 with our annual meeting to follow with a pot luck brunch.

My words of wisdom for the week, beware of startled small dogs!
