Dodson News for June 24, 2015

Tim and Vivian Bruckner, Viv’s son Ryan Gildon and granddaughter Audrey stopped at Edward and Pol-ly Solberg’s on their way to Great Falls. Ryan and Audrey flew back to Louisiana on Saturday.

Polly Solberg and Dora Henry were in Havre on Thursday for shopping and medical. They also had lunch with Mary Helen Heilman while there.

The County hauled in dirt to fill the basement of the old McLeods’ store as there was some concern about the hole and the water in it as a danger. Malta Ready Mix should soon have it fully filled, cleared and leveled, and looking good.

Zack Cole and wife Sarah of Louisiana are here visiting his parents, Wink and Terri Cole. Also here to see them all were son Matt, wife Heidi & family of Billings and daughter Kathy and family. Zack is being transferred to Texas.

There has been a large increase of activity around town by small motorbikes driven by quite young children and also a couple of four wheelers driven by underage drivers and with one or two extra passengers. This is dangerous as they sometimes come out of nowhere from between buildings and if a car was coming up the street they could not see them until the last minute and would not be able to stop or avoid the small bikes etc. coming at some speed. Several people have complained and asked what the law is on these and where are the parents? Don’t they care?

The Bear family are busy cleaning and building a new high fence on the East end of the race track at the Fairgrounds. Going to look good for the Fair.

The simplest toy that even the youngest child can operate is called a grandparent.
