Sincere sympathy to the Johannesen family on the death of Kameron. His funeral was Monday.

Shane and Sheldon Johannesen spent the whole week with Grandma Twilla. Pete and Carol Lumsden, Jay and Whitney Blunt and children spent the weekend up at Gates of the Mountains with Carmen and Matt Norville and girls of Whitehall and Jonnae and Jim Slade of Billings.

Bette Dyrdahl of Helena called the other day. She was a neighbor of Johannesen's when Iver and Mavis were newly weds. She congratulated them on the 100 years of farming/ranching.

Dixie Stordahl spent the week in Billings attending a petroleum class. She had three field trips during the week, to a Cody oil field, to Broadus, and to Phillips 66 refinery! While in Billings Dixie also visited with her sons Rodney and David and their families, loving up on the grand kids!

Brenda Kornfeld said that her son Colt is going to be in the Calgary Stampede on the 4th of July! Congratulations to him! Good luck!

Trace and Beau Simonson had a special vacation with grandma Gale to Arizona with some of their cousins! Now Trace is in Texas attending a TSA convention since he is an officer in Montana's TSA. Good job,Trace!

I noticed that the pea fields are all white with blossoms! Thanks, Jason and Mick for planting them so close to my house this year! Also the safflower is totally yellow in bloom! The yucca are beautiful this year with multiple stalks!

Dee Arndt of Kalispell was here visiting Barbara Cowan for a few days! She also caught up with Lexie Haynes, Mary Pienu, Doreen Taylor, JoAnn Hammond, and Jimmy Murdock while here!
