One Nation, Under God

Loring News for week of July 7, 2015

I am assuming that everyone had a super safe fun Independence Day celebration! Sure reiterates why we are Americans!

Kenny Clark and Kyle Wasson families had some fantastic aerial fireworks on Saturday down in the Loring Park. God also got in on the show with lots of thunder and lightning and some rain! All was greatly appreciated!

Twilla Johannesen enjoyed her grandkids this weekend, helping them with horsemanship skills!

The Lumsdens entertained family at the Nelson Lake. Jonnae Slade of Billings, Carmen Norville and girls, of White Hall, Whitney and Jay Blunt and sons, Jerry and Gloria Salveson, Kyle and Jade Salveson and family enjoyed boating, fishing, swimming, visiting and eating on the Fourth of July!

Tom and Dixie Stordahl made a trip to Malta on Sunday to visit Barbara Cowan. An old friend of hers, Gary Ferguson had been to visit with her a week before.

You have never seen yellow unless you saw Jason Morrison's field of mustard! It was beautiful!

We have had really high temperatures for most of this week. But Sunday, it was overcast, a little rain fell and the temperature was in the low 70's! A welcome relief!

The baby flycatchers in the nest on our deck are growing bigger each day! Soon they will be fledging and then Tom will have to swat the flies!

The Simonson Cowgirls were really putting on the miles this week participating in many rodeos and taking in a roping class. They are accomplished horsemen! I think that this week is called cowboy's Christmas and the girls rode in seven or so different places! When they get famous I'll be able to say I knew them when!
