One Nation, Under God

Phillips County Museum News for August 5, 2015

What a great 100th birthday celebration for the Phillips County Fair! A grand thank-you to the PC Fair board for the extra efforts to ensure a fun time was had by all! Congratulations to all the contestants who entered items in the fair. Did you know that Phillips County was winning prizes with its agriculture products as early as 1909? Mr. Geo Kier of Malta was the first place prize winner for his exhibit of “Timothy In Sheaf” at the National Corn Exposition in Omaha, Nebraska in 1909. The PC Museum invites you in to view the “Montana” exhibit that was displayed at the Exposition. What a great history we have in Phillips County!

Museum hours are Mon-Sat., 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
