PCMS wraps season with 'Big Dollar Race'

The final race of the 2015 Phillips County Motor Sports, known as the Big Dollar Race, was well attended and finished the season on yet another high note for the 10-year old organization.

On Saturday, the junior dragsters – Thunder for those ages 11 and below and Lightning for children 12-through-18 – and those looking to “test and tune” took to the speedway for a total of 125 racers on the day. When the tires stopped spinning and the smoke had cleared, a grand total of $1,420 was paid out in each class.
